You should obtain advice from a qualified professional who knows your full circumstances before acting.
Figures are estimates
Every number in the app — net worth, cash flow, budget position, financial health score, debt payoff timelines, tax estimates and wealth projections — is derived from the information you enter. Balances between statement dates are estimated from your logged entries. Projections assume rates of return, inflation and contribution levels that will not match reality. Tax estimates use simplified federal and Ontario brackets and ignore many credits, deductions and elections that may apply to you.
Your data
Your financial records are visible only to you. They are protected by row-level access rules so that no other user, and no SMGC administrator, can read them. Administrators see operational metrics only — usage counts, error rates and feature requests — never your accounts, balances or entries.
SMGC advisory services
SMGC provides advisory services through a network of legal and financial professionals but does not take responsibility for advice provided directly or indirectly, whether by that network or by this application. Any engagement with a professional in that network is a separate relationship governed by its own terms.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SMGC and its affiliates are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the application or the figures it displays.
Changes
This notice may be updated as the product changes. Continued use of Wealth Passport after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
